The information age carries the risk of excluding socially disadvantaged people and people with disabilities and learning difficulties from new media and technologies. This phenomenon is known by the term “digital divide”.

That is why the Austrian Institute for Vocational Education and Research is particularly keen to provide barrier-free web content.
